Description

This milestone, located approximately 20 metres west of Windsor House, dates from the late 18th century to early 19th century. It is made of granite and features an upright round-headed slab that stands about 0.4 metres high. The front of the milestone is inscribed with Roman serif capitals, stating "12 MILES FROM EXETER."
