Description
This milestone, dating from the late 18th century to early 19th century, is made of limestone and stands upright at approximately 1 metre high. It features a flat top with rounded corners. The front of the milestone is inscribed in Roman serif capitals, stating '6 miles from Exeter'. Additionally, there is a benchmark inscribed on the top.
