Description
This is a milestone dating from the late 18th century to early 19th century, made of granite. It is an upright slab that stands approximately 0.5 meters high and has a flat top with a triangular cross-section. The two sides that are angled forward are inscribed with Roman serif capitals. Currently, only the left side is visible, which reads "15 MILES FROM EXETER." The right side likely has the inscription "10 MILES FROM OKEHAMPTON."
