This is an early 18th century building on The Strand in Topsham. It is a two-storey, four-window red brick structure, with a recessed rear. The building features sash windows, some of which are replacements from the 19th century. A single 19th century canted bay window has been added. The roof is hipped and covered with slate. A notable feature is the doorcase, which has fluted pilasters and a pediment. The listed buildings along The Strand are considered to form a group.
