HIGHER SHAPTER STREET 1. 1092 (North Side) TOPSHAM No 1 (Strand House) SX 9688 9/970 II GV 2. Late C17/Early C18. 3 storey stucco house with gable end facing the Strand. C18 pedimented hood on brackets to doorway. Exterior much altered and of little interest. Interior has good panelled room and staircase, 1690-1700. Slate roof. Group value with The Strand. A11 the listed buildings in Higher Shapter Street form a group.
