Description

Nos 16 and 17 on The Strand are mid-19th century buildings with a gable end facing the street. They are rendered and stand three storeys tall, featuring one window on each floor. The windows are sashes with glazing bars, although the first-floor window of No 16 has been replaced by a late 19th-century oriel window. The gable includes casements. Each building has a four-panel door with rectangular lights above it. They have projecting eaves and a slate roof. These buildings are included for their group value, as they are part of a collection of listed buildings on The Strand.
