Description

No. 18 The Strand is a circa 1800 plastered house with its long axis at right angles to the road. It is a two-storey building with a gable end featuring two windows on each floor, the ground floor windows fitted with shutters. The sash windows have altered glazing bars. The roof is slate. The building may originally have been one of the Merchant houses, but has been altered over time. It forms part of a group of listed buildings along The Strand.
