Description

23 and 24 The Strand are two-storey cottages that date back to the 17th century or earlier. They feature an old roof covered with grouted slates. The ground floor has bay windows with penthouse roofs and one wooden arched porch. The ground floor windows are sash windows with glazing bars, while the upper floor has three tripartite casement windows. The walls are made of cob. These cottages are likely the oldest houses on The Strand, and they are part of a group of listed buildings in the area.
