House. Early C17 or earlier. Roughcast cob on stone footings; hipped thatched roof, gabled-end to rear wing. Probably a 3-room, through-passage plan house, the service-end to the right of the passage with a rear service-end wing. Rendered brick shafts to axial hall stack, external service end stack with bake oven bulge and rear wing end stack. Original site of stairs behind axial stack. 2 storeys. Front: irregular 5-window range; 1st floor: all 2-light casement windows with the exception of a later (probably C20) single light window, and all under eyebrow eaves. Ground floor with five 2-light casement windows, that to the left of the axial stack appears to be a blocked door. Verandah with simple posts. Right-hand end with two 2-light casement windows to each floor; much brick and popple (cobble) patching. Slated and tiled leantos to rear, with a separate stack; 2-light casement windows. Interior: (not inspected internally): hall with chamfered cross ceiling beam with scroll stops, fireplace lintel stops with bar. Rear wing with chamfered cross beam with scroll stops. Fireplace lintels stops with bar. Rear wing with chamfered cross beam with scroll stops. Chamfered lintel to blocked end fireplace.
