Description

Road End is a cottage built in the late 18th century or early 19th century, constructed from stone rubble and positioned at right angles to the road. It features a thatched roof with gabled ends and stands two storeys tall. The cottage has a two-window range, with three-light casements that include glazing bars. A large central porch, which is thatched and weatherboarded, adds to its character. There are brick chimney stacks located at the gable ends, and a later lean-to has been added at the rear (north).
