Description

Northampton Cottage is a cottage dating from the late 18th century. It is constructed of stone rubble and features a thatched roof with hipped and gabled ends. The building has two storeys and a two-window range, with modern casements that include leaded panes. The central doorway is adorned with an iron lattice porch that has a tent-shaped roof. There is a brick chimney stack located over one gable end, and a lean-to extension is present at the rear. The cottage is positioned at right angles to the road.
