Description

Somerville is a cottage dating from the 18th to early 19th century, constructed from stone rubble and positioned at right angles to the road. It features a roughcast front and a thatched roof with gabled ends and eyebrow eaves. The cottage is two storeys high and has two windows across the front, along with a one-bay extension at the southwest end. The windows are modern three-light casements with glazing bars. There is also a modern thatched roof porch and brick chimney stacks at the ridge and ends.
