Description

Hope Cottage and Littlemead are a pair of cottages dating from the 18th to early 19th century. They are constructed of stone rubble with red brick dressings, and Hope Cottage, located on the left, has a plastered exterior. The cottages feature a thatched roof with eyebrow eaves and are two storeys high. There is a four-window range with a one-bay extension on the right side. The windows are various small casements with glazing bars, and there are two plain doorways. Littlemead includes a thatched porch. Both cottages have brick ridge and end chimney stacks.
