WHIMPLE SY 09 NW 10/208 Gate piers approximately 175 metres south of Rull Farmhouse 11.11.52 - II

Gate piers, once to drive of Rull Farmhouse (q.v). Mid C19. Volcanic ashlar. Pair of square section gate piers with low pyramidal caps. In front of each quadrant walls ramp down to the field bank. The iron gate is C20.
