Description

These gate piers, located approximately 100 metres south of Hall Farm, date from the late 18th century. They are constructed of ashlar and have a cruciform shape, standing about 2 metres high. Each pier features a rusticated front face, while the other sides are plain. There is a plain band with a tall frieze above, which is decorated with paterae on the front. The piers are topped with coved cornices and stepped domed tops.
