Description
Prospect Cafe is an early 19th-century building that stands three storeys tall with a two-window stucco front. It features French windows on the first floor, along with a balcony that has a canopy and a later lattice balustrade. The ground floor has been significantly altered for use as cafe premises. This building, along with the adjoining Mocha Cafe, was one of the early houses on the Esplanade. Despite the changes, it remains appropriately scaled with its balcony. The Prospect Cafe and Mocha Cafe are part of a group that includes the Beach House on the Esplanade.
