Description

Bolshayne and Higher Bolshayne Farmhouse is a house that dates from the 16th or 17th century. It is constructed from roughcast cob and stone rubble and is divided into two tenements. The house features a steeply pitched tiled roof with half hipped gable ends and has two storeys. There is a three-window range with modern casements. A large external rendered ashlar stack is located on the front wall, which has set offs and a doorway to the left. At the rear, there is an outshut with a catslide roof.
