Description
High Blean House and the attached outbuilding are a farmhouse and outbuilding dating from the early to mid-19th century. The buildings are constructed of coursed watershot rubble and feature a stone slate roof. The house is two storeys high and consists of two bays. It has quoins at the corners and a central part-glazed door set in an ashlar surround, which has splayed bases on plinths, a segmental-arched soffit to the lintel, a pulvinated frieze, and a cornice. The house also has sash windows with ashlar surrounds, shaped gutter brackets, shaped kneelers, and ashlar coping. There are end stacks on the house. The lower outbuilding to the left has a door in an ashlar surround on the right and also features shaped gutter brackets.
