The Castle Hotel is an 18th-century building with a modern bar extension added to the road elevation. The main façade faces a garden to the west and features two storeys. It is constructed of ashlar stone and has a hipped slate roof. There are three sash windows with glazing bars set in plain reveals. The central doorway is accentuated by a projecting porch supported by twin square-section columns.
