Description
44 White Hill is a building that was originally two cottages, dating from the late 17th century to early 18th century. It has two storeys and is constructed of coursed rubble, with some ashlar stone in the gable end to the right. The roof is pantiled and half hipped to the right. The building features three windows with original moulded stone surrounds and mullions. The first-floor windows are arranged as one pair (with one light blocked), one triplet, and another pair. On the ground floor, there is one triplet window and one single light to the right. The windows are a mixture of sashes and casements with glazing bars. To the left, there is a door set in a moulded surround, and there is a blocked-up doorway to the right.
