Description
The gazebo, likely from the 18th century, is located to the west of the Manor House Garden, with an attached wall to the south featuring an archway. It has a square plan and a stone-tiled pyramidal roof topped with a ball finial. The gazebo includes a square-headed door opening surrounded by bolection moulding, and there are windows on two sides with casements that have modern coloured glass and moulded architrave surrounds. Steps lead up from the road to the south of the gazebo, passing under an arched doorway with a keystone. A cobbled pathway leads to the forecourt entrances of the Manor House garden. The arched entrance is set in a rubble wall that connects to the south side of a ruined 17th-century cottage. This gazebo is part of a group of listed buildings along Whitehead's Lane, which includes Nos 15 to 17 Silver Street and Nos 1 to 4 and Nos 7 and 8 White Hill.
