Description

The Gosling Monument is a chest tomb located in the churchyard, one metre north-east of the nave of the Church of St John Baptist. It dates from 1812 and is made of limestone. The tomb features a plain design with incised panels and coved corners on each side. The inscriptions are in Roman and italic lettering, painted black. It has a moulded base and a cyma recta moulded slab.
