Description

Rose Cottage and the attached cottage date to circa 1800 and the mid-19th century. The west cottage is built of rubble stone with a stone slate roof, while the attached east cottage has a stone slate roof and Bridgwater tiles. The west cottage has a rebuilt ridge stack and two casement windows on each floor. Access is from the rear. The east cottage has ashlar quoins and stone lintels to the ground floor, and a single-window range of small-paned casement windows with a door to the left. It has a stack at the west end. The buildings are included on the list for their group value.
