Description
Rose Cottage and the adjoining house to the right are two cottages built in the late 18th century. They are constructed from coursed squared stone and ashlar, topped with a pantile roof. The buildings are two storeys high and consist of five bays. They feature quoins, and all openings have segmental arches with voussoirs. On the left side of the right-hand bay, there is a four-panel door, while on the right side of the left-hand bay, there is a six-panel door. The windows in the two right-hand bays are 20th-century casements, while the three left-hand bays have six-pane side-sliding sashes, except for the window above the door, which is a casement. The structure has stone coping, with brick stacks at the ends and one along the ridge.
