Description
Valley House is a house dating from the late 17th century. It is timber-framed and was refronted in roughcast in the early 19th century. The house features a half-hipped concrete tile roof, with a ridge stack and a stack at the north end. It has two storeys and an attic, with a three-window range. The first floor has a 12-pane window, a 9-pane window, and another 12-pane window, while the ground floor has a 16-pane window on each side of a 20th-century door and window. The south end wall displays full-height exposed framing with angle braces. There is a north-east rear wing and a 20th-century addition at the south-east. The house was formerly known as Drew's Mill.
