Description

This is a detached house located behind the main building of Roundway Hospital. It was likely constructed in the mid-19th century. The house is built of bath stone ashlar with a slate hipped roof and features two tall ashlar stacks with cornices. The facade has two windows, arranged symmetrically around a central round-arched porch. All sash windows are architraved and have keystones and bracketed sills. A plain band runs along the first floor. The interior has not been inspected. It is believed this house may have originally served as the Medical Superintendent’s residence.
