Description

This is a barn dating from the 18th century, located to the left front of Maypole Farmhouse in East Grimstead. It features weather-boarding on a timber frame and has a hipped thatched roof. The barn consists of three bays and has a central square-headed entry. The roof trusses are made up of braced tie-beams with diagonal struts leading to the collar, and it includes clasped purlins.
