Description

This milestone, located on the south side of the road about 30 meters west of Mitchell Farmhouse, dates from the late 18th century or early 19th century. It features a pyramid-shaped cap and has an affixed cast-iron plaque that is inscribed with "To Bath 15." The turnpike trust act for this road was established in 1780.
