Description
The Snelgrove monument is a chest tomb located in the churchyard about 10 metres west of the Church of St. Peter and St. Paul. It dates from the early 18th century and is made of limestone. The tomb features two recessed panels on the main sides and fielded pilasters at the corners, topped with a cavetto-moulded flat surface. At the time of the survey, the monument was badly weathered, and while the inscriptions were partly illegible, the name was still just discernible.
