Description

Well View is a cottage located at the end of a row of three, dating from the 18th to 19th century. It is constructed from white painted chalkstone and features a thatched roof. The building is single storey with an attic and has two bays. There is an off-centre 20th-century gabled porch and casement windows with timber lintels. The thatch extends over two flush dormers. There is a stack on the party wall to the right and an external stack on the left gable. This cottage was formerly a private fire station, which had a ladder hung on the gable wall.
