Description

The barn at Manor Farm is an early 19th-century structure built from coursed rubble stone and topped with a Welsh slate roof. It features seven bays and has central opposing entries, which consist of segmental-headed double planked doors with keystones. On either side of these doors, there are two tiers of two round-headed slit vents. The ground and first floors of the returns also have segmental-headed doors, while the rear includes a planked door to the left of the double doors and additional slit vents. Inside, the barn has a seven bay queen-strut truss roof. This barn was constructed as one of a pair, with a matching barn that includes a horse engine shed located to the east.
