Description
No. 18 The Strand is a detached cottage dating from the early 17th century. It features square-panelled timber-framing with painted brick nogging and a Welsh slate roof, which has a brick stack on the left and a hip on the right. The gable end faces the road. The cottage is two storeys high with two windows. A 20th-century porch on the left includes an inner door with six fielded panels, a two-light casement window, and a single-light casement, along with a steel casement to the right. On the first floor, there are two two-light wooden casements, and an external brick stack is located to the right. At the rear, there is a lean-to extension. The left side of the cottage has a fixed window on the ground floor and a two-light casement on the first floor.
