Description
This is an 18th-century oval chest tomb made of limestone, located 18 meters south of the south transept wall of the Church of St. Mary in Purton. The tomb features a moulded table and base, with raised panels and shields that are separated by flutings. It commemorates Richard Watts Read and his family.
