Description

The wing wall and stable block at Standen House is an early 19th-century structure located to the east of the house. It is made of brick with flint panels and stands approximately 4 meters high, featuring a brick dentilled cornice. At the rear, there is a wide carriage arch leading to the yard, with a blind arch on the left side and tiers of blind lunettes on the right. The wall returns forward to meet the gable of the stable block, which is also decorated with blind arcades.
