Description
Brooklyn, Three Hands, Evias, and Pathways is a group of four cottages arranged in a row, built in the 18th century. They are constructed of rubble stone and feature hipped thatched roofs with brick stacks. The cottages are designed in an L-plan and are two storeys high, with a four-window front facing the road that includes entrances to Brooklyn and Three Hands.
The entrances have 20th-century half-glazed doors set within gabled and lean-to porches. To the left, there are three pointed casements with two pointed lights, with the center one located in a blocked doorway, and a 2-light pointed casement to the right. The first floor features 2-light pointed casements with diamond leading, and the roof has five gables facing the front.
On the right return, there is one 2-light casement. The left return has entrances to Evias and Pathways; Evias has a half-glazed door with a thatched canopy and steel diamond leaded casements on either side, with three 2-light casements on the first floor. To the left, Pathways has a 20th-century door and 2-light casements, topped with a tiled roof. The interior has not been inspected.
