Description

The James Hunt monument is a chest tomb located in the churchyard about 5 meters west of the north-west angle of the tower of the Church of St Laurence. It dates from the early 19th century and is constructed from ashlar stone. The tomb features baluster angles, a moulded base, and a capstone. On the south side, there is a framed plaque dedicated to James Hunt, who died in 1821.
