Description

An early 19th-century chest tomb is located in the churchyard, approximately 13 metres east of the southeast angle of the chancel of the Church of St James. The tomb is constructed of ashlar and features baluster angles, a moulded base and a capstone. It has two plaques set into the south side, framed in a rococo style, with a plain, sunk plaque on the north side.
