Description

The Hunt and related monuments are a group of five 18th century chest tombs located in the churchyard immediately north of the tower of the Church of All Saints. These tombs are arranged in two rows on a raised podium and are made of limestone. They feature moulded tables and bases, along with recessed corner balusters.

In the east row, starting from the south, the tombs are as follows: a. John Hunt, 1754; b. Mary Westmacott, 1707, which is inscribed on the top and side panels; c. Richard Watts, 1775, and his wife Mary. In the west row, starting from the south, the tombs are: d. John Hunt, 1775; e. an unidentified tomb.
