Description

The dovecote at Manor House, dated 1794, is a Grade II listed structure located in Ham Ham village. It is built of red brick featuring blue panels on the side facing the house and has a tiled roof. The dovecote has a square plan and is two stories high. The ground floor has a boarded door that is pierced for ventilation. The elevation displays a header bond pattern with a plat band and a date stone above the door. There are two small windows designed in English bond. At the top, there is a louvered glover with a windvane. Inside, the first floor contains approximately 300 nest holes with brick ledges separated by chalk blocks and features cross beams. The building underwent repairs in 1984.
