Description
The Plough Inn is an inn dating from the late 17th century. It is constructed of rubble stone, with some parts rendered, and features thatched roofs, coped gables, and end stacks. The building is 1½ storeys tall and has an L-shaped plan. The main range faces north but is partly hidden by lean-to additions. There is an eyebrow dormer on the rear wall. The west end and the west side of the rear wing show exposed rubble stone. The rear wing includes a south end stack and a west side window, which is a 3-light cyma-moulded flush mullion window with a hoodmould, along with a triple casement window in a coped dormer gable on the upper floor. An eyebrow dormer is also present on the east side.
