Description

The Congregational Church is an early 19th-century chapel located in Grittleton, Littleton Drew. It features a roughcast exterior over rubble stone and has a low-pitched slate roof. The building is single storey with a plain exterior, highlighted by a central 16-pane window on the east side. There is a half-glazed door at the right end, set within a roughcast gabled porch, and a small gabled wing at the left end that includes an east-end stack and a door on the north side. Inside, the church has a simple layout with a panelled gallery at the north end supported by two columns. It is said to have been built in 1815, with registers dating from 1825.
