Description

The dovecote located to the south of Manor Farmhouse dates back to 1773. It is constructed from rubble stone and features a corrugated asbestos roof. The building has flush quoins and an elliptical arched opening on the east front at the ground floor. The upper floor is lined with ashlar nesting boxes, and the roof was replaced in the 20th century. Until around 1936, the dovecote had a stone slate roof topped with a lantern.
