Description

Manor Farmhouse is a farmhouse that dates from the mid-17th century to the 19th century. It features a construction of limestone and flint chequers with brick bands at the first floor, topped with a tiled roof that has coped verges and brick gable-end stacks. The building has a two-room plan and stands two storeys high with an attic, displaying two windows on the front.

The central entrance consists of a four-panelled door set within a 19th-century gabled porch. Flanking the door are two 20-pane flush sash windows with moulded wooden architraves. On the first floor, there are two 16-pane sash windows, also with moulded wooden architraves. The roof includes two gabled brick dormers, each with a two-light casement window and coped verges.

The right side of the building is windowless, while a single-storey 19th-century wing extends to the right, featuring a 20-pane sash window on the front and 19th-century casements on the right return. The left side is rendered and has a small-paned casement window on the first floor beneath a segmental arch. The rear wall is constructed of flint and includes a two-light and a three-light ovolo-mullioned window on the ground floor, with three casements on the first floor and a central gabled dormer that has a two-light casement.

Inside, there are late 19th-century stairs and a possible privy located on the first floor.
