Description
Manor Farmhouse is a farmhouse dating from the 16th to 17th century. It is constructed of brick laced flint, featuring a facade of flint and limestone chequerwork, and has a tiled roof. The building has two storeys and consists of four bays, with a two-storey porch located in the third bay. To the right, there is a two-bay service room added in the late 17th to early 18th century, and a two-storey wing added to the rear gable in the late 18th century.
The entrance hall is half the width of the building and includes a major stack on the right, which is now the dining room. There is a secondary stair located in the rear wing. The porch features a half-glazed 19th-century door set within a stone chamfered Tudor arch. Above the porch, there are two-light hollow chamfered windows, while other windows are hollow chamfered timber replacements set within stone surrounds. The eaves are boxed, and there is a stack on the left gable. The service extension is made of painted flintwork, with a roof that extends over an open verandah. A 17th-century door is present, along with leaded timber cross windows on the upper floor at the rear and a 20th-century dormer.
Internally, the major fireplace in the living room has been blocked.
