Description
Little Manor is a mid-18th century building located on Manor Farm Road in Milford. It is two stories high with an attic, constructed of brick featuring ashlar quoins, set on a projecting plinth, and has a first-floor string course. The building has a moulded and coved eaves cornice and a hipped roof covered with old tiles.
On the first floor, there are three tall windows with plain frames, while the ground floor features two windows and a central six-panel door, with the upper two panels being glazed. This door is framed by an architrave surround topped with a flat moulded hood supported by cut scroll brackets that have a bed mould around the top.
Previously, there was an impressive brick forecourt wall with gate piers and gates, but this was demolished due to road widening. However, early 19th-century gates have been relocated to the right of the house, serving as a passage entrance. These wrought iron gates feature spearheads on plain bars and dog bars, an inverted curved top rail, and urn finials on the supports.
