Description

This is a late 19th-century water pump located on the green opposite Nos 144 and 146 in Horningsham West Common. The pump is made of cast iron and features some decorative elements, along with the manufacturer's name: OWEN & SON/ENGINEERS/LONDON. In front of the pump, there is a semi-circular stone trough set on a brick base. This pump is a good surviving example of its type.
