Description
No. 110 on The Common is a building that originally consisted of two cottages but is now one. It dates from the 18th century and is constructed of painted rubble stone with a half-hipped thatched roof and brick stacks. The building has a 'T'-plan and is two stories high with two windows on the front. There are casement windows throughout, including a central planked door flanked by two 2-light casements on the ground floor. The first floor features two 2-light casements. The left side of the building has a 3-light casement and 1-light casements, with a 2-light casement on the first floor and a 3-light casement in an eyebrow dormer of the rear wing. The rear wing includes an outshut on the right side with a half-glazed door and a casement, as well as an attached single-storey outbuilding beneath a hipped thatched roof. The interior has been altered in the 20th century, featuring a blocked open fireplace and planked doors. The building is set back from the road and has its own garden.
