Description
No. 12 Foxley Road is a pair of houses that have been converted into one home, dating from around 1840. The building is constructed from limestone rubble with brick gable stacks and features a stone slate roof. It has a single-depth plan and stands two storeys tall with an attic, presenting a four-window range.
The main facade facing the garden has cambered heads over 2/2-pane 20th-century sash windows. The two windows on the right are wider apart and lower on the first floor, accompanied by a 20th-century dormer. The street-facing side features a doorway left of center, which has a timber lintel and a 20th-century door. There are horned 6/6-pane sashes in exposed frames, with two first-floor windows on the right and single windows on both the ground and first floors to the left.
To the south, there is a lower former barn with a slate roof, timber lintels over blocked doorways, and a first-floor loft entrance on the left. The garden front of the barn has 20th-century glazing. The interior has not been inspected.
