Description
This is a house located at 48 Bristol Street, dating from the mid-19th century. It is constructed of coursed limestone rubble, featuring brick gable stacks and a stone slate roof. The house has a single-depth plan and stands two storeys tall with a two-window range. The doorway, which is positioned to the left of center, has a segmental-arched head and a half-glazed door. The windows are 2/2-pane horned sashes set in exposed frames, and there is no ground-floor window to the left of the doorway. The interior has not been inspected. This house, which has undergone some alterations, is designed in the Vernacular tradition and is prominently situated among a notable group of buildings on Bristol Street.
