Description
No. 2 Foxley Road is a house dating from the early 19th century. It is constructed of limestone rubble with a brick stack on the right-hand gable and features a stone slate roof, with interlocking tiles at the rear. The house has a single-depth plan and stands two storeys tall with a one-window range. The slightly bowed front has cambered heads, and there is a left-hand through-passage. Steps lead up to a right-of-centre doorway that has a boarded door, a right-hand casement window, and a 20th-century casement window above the doorway on the first floor. Inside the passage, the steps of the internal winder stair rise above the street end. The interior has not been inspected but is reported to have been altered.
